Libraries After Dark
Looking for free things to do after hours? Check out our Libraries After Dark program.

Are you looking for free things to do after hours? Our Libraries After Dark program is offered at Bairnsdale Library on Thursday evenings until 9pm. The program is different each week, offering games, film screenings, workshops and fascinating guest speakers. Or just drop in for a cuppa - we offer a safe and welcoming environment for all.

The Libraries After Dark program is an initiative of Moreland City Council and supports libraries across Victoria through funds provided by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.

Phone 5152 4225 or book at the library for these FREE events.

Movie Screening - Corner Office

Join us for a viewing of the film, Corner Office!

Authority Inc's newest employee, Orson (Jon Hamm), finds himself trapped in the absurdities of corporate life. He instantly develops a distaste for his colleagues, offended by such things as their lackadaisical work habits and their sloppy attire. But when Orson discovers an empty, elegantly appointed, wood-paneled office that offers momentary contentment he retreats there whenever he can. In the office he finds the peace to do his best work, resulting in kudos from his boss and resentment from his co-workers. More problematic, none of his co-workers can see the apparently magical office that serves as Orson’s refuge.
