Are you looking for free things to do after hours? Our Libraries After Dark program is offered at Bairnsdale Library on Thursday evenings until 9pm. The program is different each week, offering games, film screenings, workshops and fascinating guest speakers. Or just drop in for a cuppa - we offer a safe and welcoming environment for all.

The Libraries After Dark program is an initiative of Moreland City Council and supports libraries across Victoria through funds provided by the Victorian Responsible Gambling Foundation.

Libraries After Dark Movie Screenings

Join us Thursday evenings for a screening of a variety of movies.

Meet new people, enjoy some supper, relax and enjoy a movie on the big screen in the company of others!

Scrabble, Trivial Pursuit, chess, Mahjong and even Jenga!

Bairnsdale Library is now open until 9.00 pm on Thursdays, so why not bring along a friend and play a classic board game?

Light refreshments and tea and coffee are provided.
