Council is seeking expressions of interest (EOI) for the replica paddle steamer Curlip and the Samson.

Samson is a small boat previously used for promotional purposes.

The Curlip has long been a source of community pride. Built through a community-driven project, the vessel has been securely stored at Forge Creek since 2023.

Council recognises the significance the Curlip holds for many locals and is committed to finding a suitable new owner. Council is open to proposals from individuals, organisations or businesses with a vision for its future. The EOI process will prioritise sustainable proposals that deliver community outcomes.
