If you visit Bullock Island, Lakes Entrance you may see some activity as our contractors are starting to set up for our next projects on the island.

This will not impact access within Bullock Island over the Labour Day long weekend.

The works are part of the Bullock Island Masterplan and are expected to take five months to complete.

The projects are:

• Public toilets

• Trails, signs and artwork

• Barbecues, seating and picnic areas

• Fishing areas and landscaping

• Road and car park upgrades.

There will be rolling road closures during the project (notice will be provided), in particular the old sandblasting jetty car park and the southern carpark, which both need major upgrades.
