The following closures to Council services over the 2023-24 Christmas and New Year period are as below:

Customer service centres

• Our customer service centres and Corporate Centre will be closed from 5pm Friday 22 December and will reopen at 9am on Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Bairnsdale library

• The library will be closed from 12 noon Saturday 23 December and will reopen Tuesday 9am 2 January 2024.

The Forge Theatre and Arts Hub

• Closed from Saturday 23 December and will reopen Tuesday 2 January 2024.

Visitor Information Centres

• Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance and Mallacoota Visitor Information Centres will be closed on 25 December.

Recreation centres and outdoor pools

• The Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre and Lakes Entrance Aquadome will be open from 9am to 1pm on Sunday 24 December.
• The Bairnsdale Aquatic and Recreation Centre, Lakes Entrance Aquadome and Orbost Outdoor Pool will be closed on 25 December.

‍Waste

• Transfer stations and landfills will be closed on 25 December and will reopen for normal operating hours at each site from 26 December.
• Wairewa Transfer Station will also be closed on Saturday 30 December 2023.

Raymond Island Ferry

• Last service departs 1.15am Christmas Day.
• Last service departs 1.15am New Year's Eve.
