Council has prepared its draft Budget 2023/24 for the financial year 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024. Council has also reviewed its 10 Year Financial Plan 2023/24 to 2032/33 and its Four Year Revenue and Rating Plan 2023/24 to 2026/27.

Community feedback about the content of the draft Budget 2023/24, the 10 Year Financial Plan and the Four Year Revenue and Rating Plan are invited.

Copies of the draft documents and the feedback form will be available until Wednesday 31 May 2023 from:

· Council’s website at www.eastgippsland.vic.gov.au; or

· Council’s Customer Service Centres in Bairnsdale, Lakes Entrance, Mallacoota, Orbost, Omeo and Paynesville; and Outreach Centres at Bendoc, Buchan and Cann River.

All feedback must be received by 12.00 pm on Wednesday 31 May 2023.

After considering all feedback received Council will formally consider adoption of the draft Budget 2023/24, which includes the declaration of rates and charges, the revised draft 10 Year Financial Plan 2023/24 to 2032/33 and the revised draft Four Year Revenue and Rating Plan 2023/24 to 2026/27, with or without amendment, at the Council Meeting to be held at the Corporate Centre, Bairnsdale on Tuesday 27 June 2023 commencing at 6.00 pm.
