We are undertaking maintenance work to the floor in the Omeo Service Centre, from Friday 10 May to Wednesday 15 May 2024.

This work involves removing some flooring, concrete grinding and relaying carpet (particularly in the library area). This means we need to move the library collection for work to be completed, and then reinstate before the public can have access.

As a result, there will be some disruption to our normal services. We have planned the work and alternative service delivery to limit the impact on the community. 

We apologise for any inconvenience this work may cause.

• Library services - not available.
• Council and VIC - normal operations.

 Monday 13 May

• ‍Omeo Service Centre temporary relocation to the Omeo Community Hub (next door).
• ‍Library services not available.
• All other Council services including VIC available from the Hub.
• Library program - Tech Savvy Introduction to Library Resources will be held at the Hub.
• Centrelink appointments rescheduled to Thursday 16 May 9–10.30am.

 Tuesday 14 May

• ‍Omeo Service Centre temporary relocation to the Omeo Community Hub (next door).
• Library services not available.
• All other Council services including VIC available from the Hub.
• Monthly movie - Priscilla – cancelled.
• Centrelink appointments rescheduled to Friday 17 May 9am to 12.30pm.

 Wednesday 15 May

• Library services not available.
• All other Council services including VIC available from the service centre.
• Omeo Primary School Storytime session will be held at the school.
• CentreLink services and access available.

 Thursday 16 May

• ‍‍Return to normal services including library.
