Road closure notification

Reedy Creek Road Bridge in Ensay will be closed for approximately 12 Weeks from Monday 26 February 2024 in order to undertake urgent bridge replacement works.

The project sees the replacement of the existing load limited timber bridge with a steel and concrete bridge. Due to limitations in workspace and types of works being undertaken, the plan is to close Reedy Creek Road at the bridge for approximately 12 weeks.

Council have awarded the bridge replacement project at Reedy Creek to Tambo Constructions Pty Ltd.

Anyone requiring access to areas North of the bridge site are requested to use the alternate access via Little River Road Ensay.

Signage will be installed on Sandy Creek Road and Little River Road 14 days prior to the road closure.
