Road renaming proposal – Hollands to Hollonds Road, Swifts Creek

Council recently notified the community of a proposal to rename Hollands Road Swifts Creek to Hollonds Road.

The extended community was invited to provide feedback on this proposal.

Having considered all the feedback received, Council has made a final decision to accept the naming proposal.

The naming proposal will now be submitted to the Registrar of Geographic Names for consideration and inclusion on VICNAMES – The Register of Geographic Names.

Once the naming proposal is endorsed by the Registrar and registered on VICNAMES, Council will complete the implementation process for the new road name and notify all relevant authorities, affected property owners and update road signage accordingly.
