I am a long-term resident of East Gippsland, where I raised my four children. I currently live in Lucknow.
An enthusiastic sportsperson, I have played tennis and volleyball for many years and have served on several sporting and community organisations.
I am a member of the East Gippsland Ratepayers and Residents Association (EGRRA) and the Victorian Ratepayers and Residents Association (VRRA).
In addition to helping run a sheep and cattle farm for many years, I have worked as a secondary school teacher, training and employment coordinator, and more recently, as a community engagement specialist in forest and fire management. I am also an accredited life and executive coach with the International Coaching Federation.
As a Councillor, I believe in balancing preparations for the future with delivering programs and services that maintain or enhance the quality of life for current residents. I am committed to good governance, financial accountability, and transparent decision-making. I believe that timely, genuine, and representative community involvement is key to ensuring satisfaction with Council decisions.
