Under section 206 and Schedule 10(5) of the Local Government Act 1989, council gives notice of the intention to name a walking track. The community is invited to provide feedback on this proposal, with more information available on council’s website. If no objections or other submissions are received within 30 days, this naming proposal will progress and will be submitted to the Registrar of Geographic Names for consideration and registration.

Anyone can provide feedback on this proposal; however, if you are objecting you must say why the name is not appropriate.  Feedback can be hand delivered to any of council’s Customer Service Centres, by email to feedback@egipps.vic.gov.au or post to
